"I was introduced to Rossiter Workouts
through Kristen after a few sessions of massage therapy. I
will admit I was a skeptic at first but I still remember
the results of one Rossiter session about 6 months ago
during my senior year of high school.
My knee was killing me. I took a week off
of running from practice in track and I was miserable. All
that hard work from the beginning of the year of setting
personal records flew out the window. My knee was
throbbing every time it impacted on the ground. I never
had knee problems and I’m not the type of person to sit
out during practice or games. I’ve lettered in 3 varsity
sports and have been active in sports since I was young.
This time, I couldn’t just “tough it out.” I was
frustrated that my knee would do this during the peak of
my track season. I first went to my family physician. She
told me to keep an eye out and prescribed some
anti-inflammatory medicine. Anti-inflammatory medicine??
She scheduled a follow up appointment the next week and
then she would refer me to a physical therapist. Next
week?? First off, I didn’t want to numb the pain in my
knee and then go out running and possibly damage it even
more. Secondly, I needed lasting relief now, track was
waiting!
I decided to make an appointment. I went to
my session of Rossiter and literally, just after that one
45- minute session I was able to run the next day. I went
again the next week and I haven’t had problems since. My
fascia was all intertwined, completely twisted from over
exertion of running. I was utterly amazed and since then,
I have been made into a Rossiter believer.
I was so fascinated by this concept. I kept
wondering about the history of Rossiter and why everyone
has such little knowledge of such a great therapy! I was
intrigued and decided to do some research. I found
Richard Rossiter’s sight and became an advocate of the
system. I then decided to take it up a notch and attend a
Rossiter Coaching session, so I could learn how to coach.
Kristen taught me the first level of Rossiter- and upper
body session which included the arms, shoulders and neck.
I now could perform Rossiter at the first level completely
by myself!
My first subject was with my father. He has
worked at a printing company for almost 30 years and has
used his arms a great deal. He started noticing his right
elbow becoming very painful. It became so painful for him
that he started using a support band around his elbow. He
had what is commonly referred to today as “tennis-elbow”.
I was excited to jump at the chance to help him. I used
Rossiter workouts on him twice a week for three weeks and
then once a week for the next three. His elbow went from
painful to stiff to finally being able to lift weights or
any other object for that matter. He now has become an
advocate of Rossiter. If his elbow becomes strained in any
way, he comes straight to me instead of the doctor’s
office.
My next subject was a nurse practitioner of
a family doctor’s office. I worked as a medical clerk over
the summer and she was complaining about the pain in her
neck. I told her of the concept of Rossiter and she
decided that she would try it out. After working on her
neck she couldn’t believe the results. Her neck felt very
relaxed and loose. She became a Rossiter believer.
Rossiter, in my opinion, is such a great
way to relieve pain. I immediately saw results. I was the
person in control. I decided how much weight was applied.
I decided how much weight I could take. I didn’t have to
have a physical therapist telling me how many repetitions
or how much weight is should be applied. Plus it is all
natural. I didn’t have to take a medication for my knee. I
didn’t have to consume a pill in order to receive results.
Rossiter permanently changed my view on treatment of
pain. I highly encourage everyone who is experiencing
pain to try a Rossiter Workout."
